post Brexit
Scotland fought long and hard
tooth and nail
for sovereignty.
A Scot is a Scot is a Scot
is a Pict
No three ways about it.
It runs deep.
This railway line runs from Scotland to England, vice-versa.
In transit I am present to the freedom of crossing the border
a thing I shall not continue to take for granted.
